Mother's Day Card #2

Here is a Mother's Day card for my MIL.  When I first saw these flowers on  Laurie's blog I fell in love and then I saw them while shopping the other day and I jumped for joy.  They are so small and adorable. I added the bee because I felt that corner looked a little empty.  I can not tell you how long I have had that bee.  I think at least 10 years.  I am a little ashamed that I have had something that long and haven't used it or thrown it out ;)  When it comes to crafts I am a pack rat, that is why I still have all my decorative edged scissors LOL!  Well enjoy!

Mother's Day Card

I am trying to be good this year and not wait until the last minute to make a card for my mom for Mother's Day so I sat down tonight and used a stamp I just recently bought from TPC Studio.  I think it is so pretty and I'm already thinking of other ways that I can use it.  Now on to my MIL...

Owl Love

I was over at a friend's house today and we were creating cards.  I brought over my Silhouette machine to show her how fun it was and we decided to cut out this adorable little owl.  She pulled out some of her great Stampin' Up patterned paper for the heart and I was in love.  The adorable buttons are from Making Memories.  I think I will be cutting out this owl a lot more!

Hello Spring!

When spring comes around I start thinking of flowers and butterflies.  I love the flourishes inside this butterfly!  The butterfly is another Silhouette image and the sentiment is from Inkadinkado.  I hope you're enjoying the warmer spring weather!

Oh Baby!

I received a Silhouette for Christmas and I have had so much fun learning all of the wonderful things that it can do, the possibilities are endless!  One of my friends from grade school is having her first baby so I had to use this little giraffe.  He is so cute!

Valentine's Card

I made this card for my husband for Valentines day.  It is hard for me to do cards that aren't too "girlie" but I do like getting out of my comfort zone.  I love this line from Echo Park,  there are so many ways you can use this patterned paper.

Honeycomb Paper!!

I recently bought some of the new stamps and honeycomb paper from Inky Antics and I couldn't wait to use them! This is a card I created for my mother in law's birthday.  You can't see it very well but I used stickles on the cherries to give them a little sparkle and popped the bird up a little to give it dimension.  This was so fun, I can't wait to do more cards with the honeycomb paper!
